Investing for those that don’t have time

What if I told you that investing wasn’t all about reading the financial press, analysing charts and reading company accounts? That in fact, even if you’re a really busy person you can still see real growth in the value of your savings through the power of simple, proper investing.

In this video I’m going to show you how keeping your investment strategy simple provides 3 major benefits.

Trading vs investing

You see those that think they can beat the general stock market by picking the next hot stock are not investing. They are trading and there is a big difference. Investment risk when picking individual companies is high.

Traders will buy and sell stocks and shares on a regular basis hoping to get a quick win and make some big money.

The problem is it’s very very difficult to do. Throughout history it’s been proven that it’s impossible to time the market. Even major companies are no way a sure thing when it comes to picking individual companies to invest it. Think the banks, Tesco and BP!

The 3 major benefits of proper simple investing

1. Time

Building a diversified low cost investment portfolio that is aligned to your goals and objectives can save you lots of time. Time that can be spent doing other things that you love.

You see once the portfolio is built you just let it run and do it’s job. You only need to tweak it if your circumstances change.

2. Less stress

A well diversified portfolio should be built to withstand the market shocks that will come along during your investment timeframe. That way you don’t need to worry when the next crash happens (and it will happen), you just let your investing do its thing.

Much nicer than reading all the news and worrying about how much your money is falling because the company you bought is about to go bust!

3. You just as likely to achieve your goal

In fact probably even more likely to achieve your goal through proper simple investing.

So ignore investment outlooks. Even the big investment companies that spend millions employing staff and analysing stock market data can’t beat the general market.

If you don’t have the time, inclination or skill then keep your investing simple.
